Meet the Team
I am a qualified primary teacher (PGCE) who set up Enrichment Through Archaeology in 2011 developing and delivering workshops for schools and groups. I'm an archaeologist too (MA (Hons) PhD). I have worked on sites dating from the Neolithic to the 19th Century in places ranging from England & Scotland to Greece, Israel and Palestine.
I also work in the Peak District National Park as the South West Peak Cultural Heritage Officer
I am an experienced teacher (CTLLS) and I have run workshops for schools and groups with Enrichment Through Archaeology for the past 6 years. I'm an archaeologist (BA, PhD) who has dug on many Stone Age to Iron Age sites and projects, such as the Stonehenge Riverside Project and the Arbor Low Environs Project in the Peak District.
I also work with community groups on archaeology projects throughout Derbyshire and the Peak District.
I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher (MA, PGCE), working with KS2 children for over 20 years. I set up Stone Age Workshops in 2014, and have enjoyed seeing the popularity of these fun and inspiring workshops for over 100 classes of children!
We love exploring new ways of engaging children in learning and seeing the excitement on their faces as they try out these new practical activities!
We have full DBS clearance, public liability insurance, and can provide risk assessments for all activities.
